1. License
ModLens Free and ModLens Sim may be used free of charge, for personal and commercial work.
ModLens Pro: each license key may be active on one computer or Raspberry Pi at a time. You may move it to another computer by deactivating it first. Updates within version 1.x are included.
You may not resell, share or publish license keys, or modify the software to bypass licensing.
2. Intended use
ModLens and ModLens Sim are diagnostic, monitoring, logging and testing tools. They are not safety systems and must not be used as the only means of controlling or protecting equipment, people or processes. Writing to registers changes how equipment behaves: only write values when you understand their effect and are authorized to do so.
3. Refunds
If ModLens Pro doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase.
4. No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do our best to follow the Modbus specifications and test every release, but equipment varies and we can't guarantee compatibility with every device.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including equipment damage, downtime or data loss.
