The apps
ModLens and ModLens Sim run on your computer or Raspberry Pi. Your devices, tags, simulations and logged data are stored only there. The apps don't send them to us or to anyone else, and they contain no analytics or tracking.
License activation (ModLens Pro only). When you activate a key, ModLens sends the license key and an anonymous computer ID (a one-way code derived from the computer name, not the name itself) to our licensing and payment provider, to check the key and count activations. Later it occasionally re-checks the key when internet is available.
ModLens Sim data sources. If you configure a web API as a data source, ModLens Sim connects to the address you chose. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Payments are processed by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record. It collects the information needed for payment, tax and invoicing (name, email, billing country, payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your email and order details to deliver and support your license.
This website
The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and reliability.
