Licensing questions
How does the trial work?
Download and run ModLens: all Pro features are unlocked for 14 days, with no registration and no card. When the trial ends, ModLens switches to Lite mode. Your devices, tags and logs are kept.
How does the license work?
After purchase you receive a license key by email. Paste it in ModLens under Settings → License (or use one command on a Raspberry Pi). A Pro key activates one computer; a Team pack key activates five. Use "Move license to another PC" to transfer a seat.
What's the difference between Pro and Pi Logger?
Pro is for the computer you work with (Windows or Linux). A Pi Logger license unlocks the same features on one Raspberry Pi or Linux device that you leave on site to log 24/7.
Do I need internet to use Pro?
Only to activate the key. ModLens then works offline, re-checking the license occasionally when a connection is available (up to 30 days offline).
Will the price go up?
$89 is a launch price. The regular price will be $129. Licenses bought at the launch price stay valid and keep their 1.x updates.
Can my company get an invoice?
Yes. Checkout provides a proper invoice and handles sales tax/VAT. For more than 5 computers, contact us through the support page.
